Birth of the Ministry

For far too long, we have navigated life primarily through the lens of logic and reason ignoring the more powerful intelligence centres we possess. We have valued intellect and analysis, believing they hold the keys to understanding and happiness. Yet, as we delve deeper into the complexities of human experience, we are beginning to realise that this approach falls short. Our lives are not merely intellectual exercises; they are driven by something far more profound: our spirit, our soul and a higher divine power.


The revolution of spirituality is a recognition of this fundamental truth. It is a shift away from the rigid confines of dogma and tradition, towards a more personal and experiential understanding of our connection to the divine, to the universe, or to whatever higher power resonates with us. 


This revolution is not about abandoning reason or intellect, but rather integrating them with the wisdom of the heart, fortitude of spirit and intuition of the soul.

Syllabus Outline

The syllabus is most effective and best utilised when all concepts are explored. However, these can be attended as individual subjects. For example, you may need guidance on cultivating spiritual grit and do not wish to participate in the other concepts.


The above syllabi run in consecutive weeks when undertaking all concepts. 


These are offered as group sessions or 1:1 depending on what you prefer and are comfortable with.

Rick-Michael King, the visionary founder of MDG, emerged from humble and troubled beginnings to become a beacon of spiritual enlightenment. His journey, marked by resilience and divine inspiration, is a testament to the power of the human spirit and the transformative nature of spiritual awakening.


At the tender age of twelve, Rick-Michael faced a profound loss when his mother passed away at the age of 31yrs from a life of drug abuse and domestic violence. This early tragedy shaped his worldview and ignited a deep-seated yearning for meaning and purpose. As he navigated the complexities of adolescence, he also endured the harrowing experience of child abuse, leaving him scarred emotionally and spiritually.


Amidst these challenges, he began to explore the depths of his being. He sought solace and understanding in spiritual practices, delving into various philosophies and traditions. Through experiencing the dark night of the soul and after tireless introspection, he experienced profound awakenings, connecting with a higher power and discovering a profound sense of inner peace.


Inspired by his personal journey and guided by a divine calling, Rick-Michael felt compelled to share his insights and experiences with others. With a heart filled with compassion and a vision for a more spiritually enlightened world, he founded MDG. This organisation serves as a platform for individuals to connect with their own spiritual essence, cultivate inner peace, and contribute to a more harmonious society.

No, the MDG is not a church, religion or religious group. It is a spiritual ministry fostering spiritual connection to the Divine that is not based on dogma or specific doctrines. The MDG offers an evolved way of exercising faith, emphasising personal experience and individual understanding of spirituality.

In essence, a ministry is a service or function that involves care, guidance, or administration. In the case of the Ministry of Divine Genius we act as serving to evolve our understanding and practise of faith and spirituality in the shifting Age. Ministry can refer to a few different things:


  1. Religious context: The work of a minister, which typically involves spiritual guidance, preaching, and pastoral care. It can also refer to the entire body of ministers in a particular religion.
  2. Government context: A government department or agency headed by a minister. For example, the Ministry of Defense or the Ministry of Health.
  3. General sense: The act of serving or ministering to others, often in a helpful or compassionate way.


We exist for the general sense.

In a nutshell, we offer personal and spiritual development syllabi to teach, guide and mentor on connecting people with their divine genius to liberate and assist them to regain lost or forgotten parts of themselves and create a life with meaning, strength, success and happiness. 


What We Don't Do...

MDG doesn't administer meditation classes, psychic readings, tarot readings, yoga classes, energy healings or any other spiritual modalities etc, not because we don't believe in these practices (we believe they are very helpful and relevant), but because we focus purely on developing people's divine genius and how to integrate this into daily life.
